13. E – Commerce Website Tutorial – Tally the Total of Your PHP Shopping Cart

www.developphp.com In this 13th video we will tally the shopping cart total price combining all of the item prices for a grand total the user will check out for. The E – Commerce Web Site we will be assembling is one in which all of the inventory is in a MySQL database and we offer a custom PHP cart for a unique shopping experience.

  • hello Adam well i am happy i got the header code right for the shopping cart 🙂 thanks for these videos mate can’t wait to get these all up together and finished 🙂 shane uk

  • Adam,

Thank you, Yes I do agree with your logical thinking. In the cart area is where I would want it just before checking out. Thank you for explaining how to add the variables to get a cart total. Why not make sure and add the exit (); and make sure of your code. It makes the code very clear.

Are the customers going to get a chance to confirm the deletion of any items in the cart ?

    Thank you,

  • your tutorials are amazing, looking forward to starting this project next week after my exams, any ideas for your next project?? possibly a FaceMash.com tutorial?

  • Adam I’m not going to make rash promises about sucking your knob, like others have done (i’m simply not that kind of person, or gay), but these series of tutorials are fantastic, and if you had boobs and other lady parts i might just offer you sexual favours…

  • Just a thought, does your expertise run to xcode or HTML based iPhone apps? Oh and just for the record a knob is polite English-ness for man parts…..

  • Hello Adam!

    I’ll ask you something…

In the first parts of this tutorials, (when you were in filezilla) I could say that you have directories in your root page:

    – AdamStore (you are using it) ✔
    – WebPage (your previous page)

Or something like that. Can you take a () in your next video and say how did you do that? (I think it is with .htacces but, can you say the code?)

    Thanks in advance, and Greets!

    Your follower, XMAnuca
