@Seattle4areus Yes the iphone4 has a camea that can photo and read the upc codes. These are handy for a quick check in the field, but too slow to go through large lots.

The scanner that you are using in this video seemed to work very well. Which brand is it? Thanks for the info.

@Seattle4areus This is good when you are out and want to scan something. At home I use a professional store scanner. Very easy to list 100 items in less then an hour.

Great tip!! I doing “Fall Cleaning” (I know, most people do it in the Spring) and came across a bazillion old CD’s. I was going to drop them off at the Goodwill, but I’ll try the Amazon scanning and see what I’ve got. Maxwell Street……. they’re still selling stuff down there??? I grew up in Oak Park and my friends an I used to go down there an buy stuff on occassion. Even back then you had to watch your purse (wallet). Glad to hear they’re still “cranking”

Even if u find large lots of CDs without cases or in books they have value. People buy them to upload them on iPods & mp3s. Sold a lot of 170 CDs no cases for $70 and paid $3 for all.

I’m married to a picking French guy. He just got a great leather jacket while taking out our recycling. Fits him fine. He won’t pay more than 15 euros for any clothing item and only wears black, so obviously he does all his own shopping! The flea markets in and around Paris, France are fascinating. They usually run for three day weekends and you have to go three days in a row and make an effort or it’s a waste of time. And keep offering low. Uprated.
