@Colaglass It is, don’t come here and try to prove me wrong, you don’t know shit about the difference between a “programming language” and a “coding language”, and to “script” something is the Exact same as to “code” something, where “to script” came from the meaning of writing a “manu- script”, now stop denying me and face the truth.

@kidel3 I don’t know shit, eh?

kidel3

@Colaglass I don’t assume so as you disagreed with me without even knowing the difference. Become a web developer and not a hipster within it, then you’ll get to know differences in this world.

@kidel3 You’re one of the people who have been watching thenewboston for about 3 different playlists, and call yourself a web developer. I think you should not talk over your head here, mate.

@Colaglass To clear this up; no, I haven’t watched a full episode from thenewboston, and I started with web development in 2001. The first websites I used to learn from was W3, W3Schools and Tizag. The last thing you say is that I’m a noob coming over to YouTube to look at tutorials on how to do stuff like this. I didn’t even know he had playlists, I just subscribed because of all his other stuff he has uploaded that my friends has found useful (not web related). Know who you’re talking to.

Colaglass

Date: December 1, 2011 |

@kidel3 Yeah, W3schools. I get you, you’re just another noob.

@Colaglass I’m also working in 3 companies (real companies, no bullshit here) where 2 of those are based on web developing, aka, making websites (webwares – web applications) based on the clients wish. I’m not a stupid little boy that steals source code or need to learn from visual videos, I learned the way everybody does, with books and the websites where everything originated From (aka, W3). Go bitch about other complete newbs somewhere else, I’m not one of those, I just cleared out facts.

@kidel3 I’m happy for you, mate

@kidel3 Err, HTML is markup. You’re writing markup. Not scripting. Not code. Not programming.

kidel3

Date: December 2, 2011 |

@Bassdoken1 HTML is a markup Language (don’t get that wrong). You’re coding, also said as writing in a “coding language”, not as to use the reference “writing a markup”. Learn from scratch and learn early, read some books, you’ll get to understand it sometime.

Bassdoken1

Date: December 2, 2011 |

@kidel3 It’s not coding, it’s writing mark up. There is 0 logical operations that you have to think of, just formalizing the page.

kidel3

Date: December 2, 2011 |

@Bassdoken1 I could make tons of professional web developers prove you wrong, so just stop it.

Bassdoken1

@kidel3 Coding implies that you’re writing code. HTML is markup, its in its name. Its not a coding language, it’s a markup language (again, in the name).

I’ve already learned from multiple sources, and a couple of books about HTML. If I asked my teacher (who has been a web developer for 10+ years) if you’re coding when writing HTML, he would say no, it’s markup.

kidel3

@Bassdoken1 If you’re writing markup, you’re coding, aka, scripting. There’s no way around it, when writing HTML at all, you both write markup And code. You can use both of the terms, yet “to code” is more international.
