AppUp Elements Keynote on Tizen and HTML5

Officially the LiMo Foundation and The Linux Foundation have announced a new open source project, Tizen, to develop a Linux-based device software platform.

If you look at the over all ecosystem there are seuveral manufacturers that are building their own operating system. To name a few Samsung has already deployed Bada, Baidu has just announced Baidu Yi & LG has jumped on the same band wagon. These companies are making moves regardless of the fact that their product will make it to market it years behind iOS, Android or WP7.
